PFLAG Ogden was started by a mother who wanted to help other parents, children, and friends find a way to offer love and understanding of those who live with diverse sexual orientations. Others quickly joined her in this effort and now the group includes many parents, friends, and other family members.

Each meeting is attended by young and old with diverse social, professional, religious, and sexual orientation backgrounds. Meetings are mostly focused on providing love, support, tolerance, and understanding.
